ELEPHANTS FROM NEPTUNE / ALBUM RELEASE CONCERT FOR “OH NO”

One of the most successful rock bands in Estonia during the last few years, Elephants From Neptune, has finished their third full length studio album “Oh No” that is set to be released on 28 September. Their first single from their album of the same title has just been released with a humorous music video characteristic of the band. The album’s release concert will take place on 29 October in Tallinn Creative Hub. Tickets now available!

The band’s previous LP received positive reviews from local as well as foreign critics and received the Rock Album of the Year award at the 2015 Estonian Music Awards. The album’s success took them on a tour all over Europe with concerts in dozens of different countries.

“The song ‘Oh No’ was written without any prejudice, just by shooting from the hip, so to speak, which also kind of characterises the new album – impulsive, instinctive, daring. The reason we chose this song as our first single was because of its party potential,” said Robert Linna, the lead singer of the band.

“After we released our first album, we immediately started coming up ideas and we wrote a lot of new material while touring around, which then became the new LP. We also decided on recording the album somewhere completely new to us and that helped us challenge ourselves and take things to the next level,” Linna added. As with Elephant From Neptune’s previous albums, the new LP also features many friends and local musical legends, starting with Jaanus Nõgisto (Ruja, Led R) and Aleksander Vana (Kosmikud). Bert Brikenfeld (DJ Critical) was trusted with the mixing process.

Elephants From Neptune‘s new album „Oh No“ will reach stores and various digital channels on 28 September. However, anyone interested in the album can pre-order it now from the online store www.311.ee. The album release show for “Oh No” will take place on 29 October in Tallinn Creative Hub.
