British singer Tom Odell will perform in Tallinn Creative Hub on 17 March. The show is part of his Wrong Crowd tour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tom Odell, the British musical sensation, is the author of the hit song Another Love<\/em> <\/strong>and a favourite at big music festivals such as Glastonbury and Sziget. He has also won the famous BRIT Award. The 26-year-old has already released two highly successful studio albums, the latest of which, Wrong Crowd<\/em><\/strong>, came out in the summer of 2016. Album co-producer Jim Abbiss previously worked on recordings by the likes of Adele, Arctic Monkeys, and Kasabian.<\/p>\n

Tom has said that his lyrics are inspired by his inability to sustain a relationship with someone for longer than six months. “I find that I write much better songs when I’m being honest, and writing about things that happen to me,” he says. “It can get a little weird though, when friends or girlfriends realize that a song is about them. But it’s amazing what you can get away with it. Artistic license, I think they call it.”<\/p>\n

Odell grew up listening to Elton John and one of the first albums on his record player was Goodbye Yellow Brick Road <\/em>(1973). He also cites David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Billy Joel, Tom Waits, as well as Rodr\u00edguez and Bruce Springsteen as influences.<\/p>\n

Vogue<\/em> refers to Tom Odell as the fashion industry\u2019s favourite piano man. His music has accompanied numerous Burberry fashion shows.<\/p>\n

The singer is touring in Europe to promote his new album and will also pay his first visit to Estonia.<\/p>\n
