‘State of Emergency Squared’ is 30 minutes of stand-up from comedian Henrik Kalmet. It takes a humorous look at how we have adapted to the current crisis situation, covering everything from work, sports and culture to banking and the economy – and of course focussing on where the real action is taking place: at home!
What will make the show special is that despite the social distancing rules that have been put in place, the audience will still feel like they are in the front row, as they will be sitting in front of Henrik on their screens. Not only will they all get to see and hear the comedian, but he will get to see and hear them as well, as if they were right there in the room.
A total of 1000 tickets will be sold for the gig. If these tickets sell out, a second performance will be added starting an hour after the original gig is scheduled to begin. The comedian has promised to put on his routine as many times as there is audience demand for it. All money raised from ticket sales will be donated by Kinoteater to the Estonian Food Bank.
Henrik will be alone in the studio, with the technical team controlling everything from their own homes.
The production team would like to thank Tõnis Niinemets, Kait Kalli and Diandra Rebase.
The gig is being staged in cooperation with Royal Experience, Telia, Eventech, Miltton New Nordics, Minu Rada TV, Valge Klaar and the Creative Hub.
