The Creative Hub represents the main continuation in Tallinn of the 2011 European Capital of Culture project. It was established by the City of Tallinn with the aim of diversifying cultural life in the capital and in Estonia as a whole in cooperation with a range of organisations.
The goal is to shape and maintain the reconstructed Creative Hub as a development centre for cultural exports and the local creative industry, as an attractive part of urban space and as a centre for learning and recreation.
The name of the foundation in Estonian is Sihtasutus Tallinna Kultuurikatel, rendered as Tallinn Creative Hub in English.
