Personal data are the data that we collect for providing services, identifying a person and contacting a person to provide services to them or to resolve problems. We do not process the special categories of personal data defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, i.e. GDPR).

Definitions

‘Controller’ means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

‘Processor’ means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

‘Personal data’ means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

‘Processing’ means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

‘Cookie’ means a small text file, saved by a website in your computer or a smart device, when you use our website. It allows information about your preferences to be stored so that you do not have to make choices again when using the site or browsing the sites next time.

 

What kind of personal data do we collect, and for what purpose?

Foundation Tallinn Creative Hub collects the following data:

  • name,
  • address,
  • telephone number,
  • e-mail,
  • company name.

If you want to obtain more information about any of the services via the home page, we will collect and process the following personal data: your name and e-mail address. Queries can be submitted by completing a relevant contact form or sending an e-mail to the address info@kultuurikatel.ee. In order to prepare an offer, we also use the data obtained about the company from the credit information query.

The legal basis for such processing of personal data is the processing of personal data for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

 

Website browsing statistics

Upon using websites, non-personal technical data are collected about the user.

The technical data are limited to the Internet address (IP address) of the used computer or computer network, the computer’s web browser, the software version of the operating system and the time (time, date, year) and place of using the website. IP addresses are not connected to the information that identifies the person.

We collect the foregoing data with the help of the Google Analytics automated tool. If you do not want to transfer the data about you, you can prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics at any time as described here.

 

Cookies

Our websites use cookies to improve the quality of the services provided. We use session cookies, persistent cookies and third-party cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook) in order to:

  • identify our new and former customers;
  • remember your preferences, such as language, colour contrasts or font size;
  • remember whether you have agreed to our cookies on that page or not;
  • collect reliable information about using the site, which allows us to measure how much the site corresponds to the users’ needs and make possible improvements.

Accepting cookies is not strictly necessary for the operation of the main functions of the website, but it improves the browsing experience. On request, you can always delete or block cookies, but if you do so, some functions of the website may not operate in the requested manner.

You should take into account that some cookies originate from a third-party service provider who performs some of the tasks instead of us.

Information related to cookies is not used for the identification of your person and the data collected are under our control. Cookies are not used for any other purpose than that described above.

How long do we store the data?

The non-personal technical data collected on the website are stored without a term.

Personal and customer data are stored as long as it is necessary for:

  • providing services and information;
  • the communication related to the queries made;
  • ensuring the making of choices and exercise of rights.


Sharing personal data

We can make your personal data, customer data or business information available to companies who provide services supporting our business activities, such as website analysts or customer service providers. These companies are authorised to use personal data, customer data or business information only in order to provide us with services. The principle that we follow when choosing our service providers is that the service provider must be located in the European Economic Area.

We share your personal data, customer data or business information with third parties only in the manner described in the privacy notice. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

 

Rights

In certain cases, you have the right to request restriction of processing of personal data concerning you and the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you.

If you find that your privacy has been violated, we ask that you contact the controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the State of your habitual residence.

Withdrawal of consent given for processing of personal data

If you want to be ‘forgotten’, we ask that you notify us thereof, writing to the address info@kultuurikatel.ee. Based on your request, we remove the information related to your query/queries from our systems.
