Tallinn Creative Hub will open Building A in February. At first the Creative Hub’s most eye-catching spaces – the Boiler Hall, MakerLab and recording studio – will be filled with activity. Starting from autumn 2015 the whole building will be open for creative action.
The first phase will see the opening of the 700 m² Boiler Hall. The uniqueness and industrial spirit of the old power station are reflected in the giant boilers in the centre of the room, which have been renovated and conserved in their original state. The room’s unique atmosphere and height create the perfect conditions for hosting concerts, festivals, performances, exhibitions, seminars and galas.
The Corridor/Club (basement hall) will also be open for organising events, as will the MakerLab and recording studio. MakerLab, which has been working in a temporary space to date, will be moving from its Heina Street rooms to Tallinn Creative Hub to actively continue its work. MakerLab is a universal workshop whose doors are open to crafters and creative people who wish to create prototypes or produce a small series of products. The recording studio is a workshop for recording and producing sound.
Come and see the Creative Hub’s rooms!
