Creative Hub named Tourist Attraction of the Year 2017
The best tourist attraction and tourism developer of 2017 was announced today at the Tourest Travel Trade Fair. The team from the Creative Hub were the happy recipients of the title of Tourist Attraction of the Year.
The Estonian Association of Travel Agents has been choosing the best tourist attractions since 1990, and the attractions shortlisted this year were all well worth the recognition they received: Kaali Visitors Centre, Telliskivi Creative City, the Creative Hub, the Rotermann Quarter and Keila-Joa Schloss Fall Castle. The Estonian Association of Travel Agents declared the Creative Hub the best tourist attraction and tourism developer of 2017.
According to Mariann Lugus, Secretary General of the Estonian Association of Travel Agents, the most important criteria considered in the selection of nominees were general awareness, impeccable customer service, an innovative approach, good marketing and professionalism in communication with Estonian travel agencies. The nominees included attractions that are well known to all Estonians as well as those valued by foreign tourists.
According to Kristiina Kütt, Event Services Sales Manager with the Creative Hub, 2017 was an extremely successful year for the hub. “The Estonian Presidency brought European heads of state and lots of foreign reporters to Estonia,” she explained. “We’re pleased that the architectural uniqueness of our building has been noticed. But as a tourism developer once told me, even the most special place with the best location doesn’t create value: there are always people behind a successful place. At the Creative Hub we value cooperation above all else, and only with you, our valued partners, can the Creative Hub be what it is today, and become an even better and more unique event and creative centre in the Nordic and Baltic region tomorrow. Thank you for your recognition and trust.”
The Estonian Association of Travel Agents has been organising the international travel trade fair Tourest since 1991. It is the oldest and biggest such fair in the Baltic States. Tourest will be held this coming weekend, from 9-11 February 2018, at Pirita Messikeskus.
