Eesti Filharmoonia Kammerkoor invites you to celebrate its 45th anniversary concerts with heartfelt and authentic musical stories that feel both ancient and contemporary. Under the direction of the choir’s founder and long-time chief conductor Tõnu Kaljuste, the music of Veljo Tormis will be performed—works that have been an integral part of the choir’s repertoire and identity for decades.
The program features two timeless compositions by Tormis, “Naistelaulud” (Women’s Songs) and “Meestelaulud”(Men’s Songs), which tell stories of work and nature, human experiences and emotions—where joy, anger, sorrow, worry, and longing all exist side by side.
These visually striking anniversary concerts offer a chance to experience music that resonates deeply within us all.
