The charity concert Songs for a Soldier will be held on 21 June, this time in Tallinn. The lineup includes Liis Lemsalu, Tanja, Robert Linna, Laura Prits, Rasmus Rändvee, Anne Veski, Carlos and Raul Ukareda, and many others. The musicians are accompanied by the Orchestra of the Defence Forces, conducted by Peeter Saan, and a recording of the concert will be broadcast in the main channel of ERR in the evening of 22 June.
Songs for a Soldier will be held for the seventh time. The Carolin Illenzeer Fund will use the funds raised at the charity concert for supporting the education and hobbies of the children of members of the Defence Forces that have been seriously injured or killed in service. We’ve helped the children acquire basic and higher education or supported their hobby education – several families have received new skateboards or bicycles, some children attend music lessons, others ride horses. The activities of the Fund are based on caring and good will as its helps pay the schooling expenses of the children of members of the Defence Forces or supports their hobbies.
This is a good opportunity to attend a concert with the whole family before Victory Day and Midsummer’s Day, and to listen to great and well-known songs performed by the most popular artists in Estonia.
Doors will open at 18:15.
Taking photos and filming is not permitted.
