FASHION SHOW NORTHERN SPIRIT/SOFIA RUBINA BAND AND DJ JULM
For a night, the Black Box will turn into a cauldron of film, design and music, bringing together fashion, film costumes, film music, young actors and funky club music and to declare PÖFF Industry@Tallinn 2017 open.
For the first time, the Estonian Fashion Brands Association presents the Northern Spirit concept created by Helen Sirp, which brings together Estonian design and contemporary dance in a modern northern key. Ivo Nikkolo, Kristiina Viirpalu, Roberta Einer, Oksana Tandit, Tiina Talumees, Sangar, Tanel Veenre, Monton, Baltman and d’difference will show their creations on the catwalk.
The Estonian Department of Film and the Association of Film Artists will open an exhibition of costumes from Estonian films at the Creative Hub, which was specially put together for the Black Nights Film Festival.
In addition to good design and music, PÖFF Industry@Tallinn will present eight rising film stars from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Germany.
Guests can also enjoy music by Sofia Rubina Band and DJ Julm, who have created a special programme of live and electronic music inspired by Estonian films for the night, which will give a truly funky sound and mood to the opening party.
